Simon Says Stamp You + Me Stamp Set

I created this card using the You + Me stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  I bought the stamps because I've been wanting to experiment with border stamping and that's what I have been doing!  I used a simple color palette, black, white, and a touch of Calypso Coral.  The black stripe layer was stamped using the large stripe stamp and I found it easy to line up (even though I did miss the mark once and got too close).  You need grid paper when working with this to keep everything straight.  I just didn't work without the grid paper.  I stamped the hearts using the single heart stamp and the LOVE sentiment is also from the stamp set.  I did use a ribbon on the bottom layer and I layered that on a strip of Calypso Coral.  I used an older Stampin' Up! embossing folder on the bottom layer and I kept everything relatively simple.  I did think of coloring in the hearts or adding some Calypso Coral ink splatters, but opted not too.  I entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, "Anything Goes" Thanks for Stopping By!
