Another Day, Another Card!

I created this one based on the Inspire.Create.Challenge 008 | Sketch Challenge

 I like the colors:  mint, red, white, silver with a gold Stampin' Up! button.  The sentiment is from "Beautiful Peacock" from Stampin' Up!  I am going to enter this into the "Anything Goes" Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.  Plus the Sketch Challenge.

I may actually add in a Peacock image in a day or two, under the bow.  Cute stamps from Sale-A-Bration.  So the ribbon actually came from Ebay.  Its 1" grosgrain, mint polka dot and its a good quality.  The white ribbon is also grosgrain, but I believe its 3/8".  I finally found some inexpensive ribbon at Wal-mart and that's were I got that one.  I used white embossing paste on the bottom portion and applied it through a retired Stampin' Up! mask.  I also applied glitter on top of the embossing paste.  I let that dry overnight and I finished it up this morning.  I have a set of dies that cut stitched fishtail banners and I got those from AliExpress for under $3 (really awesome!). I cut two of the same size, one from red stripe paper (The Paper Studio) and one from silver cardstock.  I applied the ribbon and stamped the sentiment and then I finished it all off with a button/bow combo!  Thanks for taking a peek!

This is such a beautiful sketch!  I chose to keep the square the same as the base layer but I added an eyelet to the upper right corner.  I used the super cute and fun Stampin' Up! Bubble Over DSP, lemon lime twist cardstock and white cardstock.  I embossed the sentiment from Stapmin' Up! Picture Perfect and I'm down to the bottom of my jar and so that is why its bumpy as opposed to smooth so time to throw that out.  I can't find my other set of circle dies so until I do, I will have to use these wonky stitched circles.  I cut and layered various sizes because I usually layer my cards heavily!  For finishing touches, I added enamel dots and a lime green button plus a striped star and adhered looped, white bakers twine beneath the largest circle.  Thanks for taking a peek! MOJO Monday Sketch 506

For this card I followed the Mojo Monday Sketch 506 .  I used Stampin' Up's Bottles & Bubbles dies and Stampin' Up's Bubble Over DSP which was a Sale-A-Bration item in 2018 and super cute!  I am a paper hoarder and sometimes find it difficult to cut the papers, but I'm coming around.  I took advantage of Stampin Up's current Demonstrator offer which gets you $175 worth of product for only $99.  Shipping is Free!  I loaded up on papers!   So all the papers, the bottle, and the caps, came from the same paper set.  I used Fresh Fig linen ribbon under the bottle and I added some dew drops to accent.  Don't you think it is so hard to place these little dew drops?  I think I did OK with this card, but often I find it don't look quite right.   Other people don't seem to have that problem.  Anyway, I added two 1/8" eyelets in black to balance off the card.  For the sentiment I used a Paper Pumpkin Stamp (I think Febru...

Hearts and More Hearts...

I hope I can get all my valentine's sent out!  Thanks for looking.  The heart is die cut using Berry Burst cardstock.  The patterned paper is from an Recollections old paper pad (Burgundy Rose I think), its pretty close to Powder Pink.  The stamp and heart dies came from Aliexpress. The button is Stampin' Up! and the gold twine was something I had (origin unknown).  I did ink the edges of the paper and the rough edge panel is from a rectangle die set that I got from Aliexpress. I went back in and added two more eyelets and I a little black layer under the sentiment and I think that looks better.  I really like this card!
